Well, I haven't been very good about posting to my blog. I keep forgetting that I have one! It is very cold tonight and the wind is howling. I wish it were bringing us some Alabama snow, but oh well, it's not. Seems like we never get that lucky. Life is good, just really busy. Layoffs are still happening all around us, but we have truly been blessed to have been left out of that! I know that even if it does happen, the Lord has always provided and will continue. I try and remember every day how blessed I am and how good the Lord is.
Belinda is truly the best blogger I know. I hope to one day write as well as she does on her blog so that my stories come across half as good as hers do. The only exciting thing around the Grill house in the past few weeks has been our first incounter with a mouse. We did catch the little turkey with some peanut butter. He went to mouse heaven after filling his little belly full of Jif peanut butter. Peyton, of course, wanted us to catch him and let him go. I just looked at him, with one of my famous looks and said, "Get real!" It took us a couple of days, but the task is finished. Drew's face was just priceless when he figured out that we had one. It was a cross between fright and, well, FRIGHT! Never seen a fourteen year old look that way. It was too funny!
Well, I'm gone for now. I will let you know if anything else exciting happens at The Grill House.
